IF you could get the DPF up to ~450c just by driving it, it will burn the paticulates without needing any extra help. Thats a 'Passive' regen.
Hello everyone ! I got a 2009 Ford Focus mk2 1.6 TDCi . In the past days during cold start in the morning after passing 1500 rpm the car starts to fail and sometimes goes off. Today it started and immediately goes off. Just during cold start in the morning . During dhe day its starts regularly
Milton. I'm just purely guessing that once your car starts the fuel pump is unable to supply enough fuel to keep it running. This forum has numerous reports of pumps going south after not being used for a long time. Ideally you would test this by attaching a fuel pump gauge and watch the fuel pressure as it starts and then dies.

Hi, My focus wont start, turns over ok but does not start, I had greenflag out and there were no faults to be read from the OBD. He Injected fluid into the air intake and that did make it fire up momentarily.
